Programs that use objects rather than layers typically using an object hierarchy window as opposed to a layer window. To that end, sodipodi has the XML Editor dialog. You can click an element in the tree to select it in sodipodi; however, you must close the dialog to keep working. Also, as mentalguy pointed out, it would be nice to toggle visibility from within this window. > Also, a couple of other question: > > 2) I need to draw an precise angle. Is there someway I can get rid of this? I assume you mean a grid? This is toggled in the Editing Window/Desktop Setting dialog. > 4) With 0.26 and 0.27 I have a problem with saving my > prefs on exit. Is this a current issue? Seems to work for me. Which preference are you referring to, all of them? Does it not save a ~/.sodopodi/preferences file at all? |
