#64 Gradient Angle and Aspect Ratio

I would like to be able to define the radial gradient's
aspect ratio and angle regardless of the shape the
gradient is being applied to. For some reason my radial
gradient is now a tall, thin ellipse and I want it to
be circular, and there's nothing I can do to fix it.

Sometimes I'm applying a linear gradient and Sodipodi
clearly wants me to make it a certain angle. Trying to
pick an angle about 90 degrees off that angle is VERY
VERY difficult.
