Oh my goodness, how I hate the .pix files! I've tried GIMP but the file-pix in the default download has a mistype and so fails spectacularly and I am too lazy to make a new file-pix. Basically, I'm still using that junky "Editor" that comes with most copies of gladiator. I'm thinking of trying Adobe PS since there's an plugin for .pix usage. Every other program I've tried makes incompatible .pix files so perhaps PS will work.
