Snipplr4e install fine, shows up in the prefs and connects with my API key, but I can't find any view, perspective, menu item or anything to interact with it. Is this an eclipse version problem? Or might it be because I'm using the PHP version?
Is there any solution or workaround for this?
I'm having the same issue on ZendStudio 8. I think it runs on Eclipse 3.6.1.
I did notice that "Search on Snipplr" shows up under the file search dialog as a tab.

I never tested snipplr4e with PHP. Maybe it is the PHP editor that is not supported. It's been a long time since I've looked at the source. :(
