since I do not have Qt2 I altered the sources to work
with Qt3.
this resulted in a crash as soon as I hit "make" with
Qt refusing
to update the make-tab at all. so I also removed some close
command to make this work. finally I didn't like all
those sources
to appear in the prev-file menu of nedit, since they
are also
available from snide's project-display. therefore I
passed the
resource to that respect to the nedit-client and server
wherever
they got started in snide's sources. (unfortunately the
current
way of starting nedit does disallow for passing options
when the
location of nedit gets set by the user-configuration).
somewhere
around the sources I also wrote some TODO comments as a
wishlist for the future. now I am happily using this
(seemingly
abandoned) piece of software.
cd into snide's cvs-version and "patch -p1 <snide.diff"
