Helping with Snap! C++

help (1) Snap (1)
Alexis Wilke

If you want to help, there are 3 areas we like you to let us know about:

  1. Could you compile our code on your platform? We're working with Ubuntu 12.04 and 12.10 at this point. Other Unix platforms will most certainly require a little work. We do not support (nor intend to) MS-Windows since most of the tools we use are not available under that platform it would dramatically increase our development time to have to support that OS. Maybe later, much later, will we look into it.

  2. Are there things that you'd like to be able to do with Snap! C++ that are not yet available? If so, post a ticket and we'll look into it. Before we write new features we generally will add a page about it on the main site Features Requirements.

  3. You are a C++ programmer and want to participate? This is great! We need a lot of help here... First thing first, this is C++ programming. You need to know RAII before talking with us and preferably know QtCore. Also, we have a coding standard we want our users to follow. It's important to keep the code as clean as possible.
