Hi.  Has anyone been able to successfully black list a range of IP addresses using a class "C" mask?

For example, let's say that I want to black list all of the IP addresses that occur in the 24.73.91.x subnet.  I put a black list entry under the Accept/Reject tab with the following info:
         Domain:                    <None>
         IP Address:               24.73.91.18
         Subnet Mask:            255.255.255.0
         Type:                         Blacklist
         Comment:                  Test Comment
Rejection Message:    This is a test rejection message

Email coming in from 24.73.91.40 will still get an immediate provisional acceptance of the email.

I've tried changing the IP address in the black list entry to 24.73.91.0 with a mask of 255.255.255.0 but I get the same result.  In fact, mail coming in from any IP address in that subnet is still immediately accepted as if it was a white list entry.

I've tried flushing the dns.txt, trust.txt, and positive-trust-x.txt files, but mail is always immediately accepted.

I've gotten this result while using version 1.4.95 and version 1.5.0.

Has anyone been able to get this to work?  If so, what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Van

It does not work all the time.
      I have tracking the problem.
I believe it is code related in the interupts.

      I base on this on:
      1) the filters work when there is minimal trafffice, like early morning.
      2) when getting hit with multiples from the same IP or many connection >25 the filter does not work.

I have been recoding a lot of the event stuff to solve this  and other problems.
I don't have a due date, since I work on many projects.
