1) Please, fix position of the OSD. It's annoying to go out of a screen or just ugly moving when changing an aspect or a size of a video.
Add any possibility to set the size of the OSD regardless of a video resolution.
2) Add any possibility to change the color of the OSD.
Would you provide a screen capture? I am no developer, but what you wrote is not quite clear.
1) There are shortcut keys to change position of the video. You can also reach them by using popup menu, right click->video->zoom. You will find moving opportunities of video position there. If you mistakenly changed video position of the video you are watching. It will stay like that for that specific video since SMPlayer saves most of the settings you do for each video separately. It will not reset next time you open and play it. So, such a case has to be fixed by yourself again.
You can change window size of the SMPlayer and video size will be changing accordingly. Or, if it is aspect ratio you would like to change, then you can also go same popup menu above and change it to 16:9 (Shift+A) or 2.35:1 (Shift+S). Or, you can use specific aspect ratio popup menu Right click->video->Aspect Ratio you will find lots of different aspect ratio settings there.
2) I really didn't understand what color you are referring here. The color while no video is played and SMPlayer logo displayed on screen? Color of the area where video is no played (I don't know term for them but maybe "black bands").
Thanks.
I know how to change position of a video!
Read carefully: the size and the position of the OSD!
You don't know what is the OSD? It is like on any tv set.
The onscreen information, like: channel, changing the volume and seeking progress and etc.
Now it's white color. But it would be great some kind of acid green or something to be contrast with picture.
There is no need to be mad. Just write your request clear for everybody to understand.
Only thing I see as OSD is subtitles. I'm not using DVD, maybe they have some OSD thing. What are you referring as OSD in your case?
If you use smplayer with mpv, there are some options for mpv to control the OSD, which you can add in preferences -> advanced -> options for mplayer/mpv -> options.
There are options to change the color of the OSD and you can choose the corner where the OSD will be displayed.
Example:
--osd-color=#00FF00 --osd-shadow-color=#0000FF --osd-shadow-offset=2 --osd-align-x=right
(that will display the OSD with green color, blue shadow, and in the right top corner)
