Show frame preview on hovering the progress bar, like Youtube does.
I wonder if it's possible to get frame thumbnails for easier navigation.

      This isn't easy to implement, so I'm afraid there's no plans to implement it soon.

        I understand.

        But anyway, I would like to try to implement that. But I don't think that I know where to start. I am cs student, so I know how to code. But I will need someone to guide me thru the process. Ofc, I don't expect this to be made for a week or for a month. But I beleve we could do it for shur in a year.

          Maybe the easiest way to implement it would be to call another instance of mpv/mplayer to dump a frame from the video, like the thumbnail generator does. However calling mpv/mplayer can be a little bit slow and there can be lag.
