How about making the snapshot file names based on the video file name, as in the case of xine-ui?

I don't know about xine-ui, but it would be cool like: ${filename}-{seconds elapsed in file}.${fileextension}.{jpg,png}
That's how MPC name it: {filename with extension}_snapshot_{hh.mm.ss - position in video}_[{yyyy.mm.dd - current date}_{hh.mm.ss - current time}].png
For example: apokalipsis.avi_snapshot_00.01.10_[2014.10.28_13.47.41].png
This possilibity will be added soon.
I've just added an option to set a template for the screenshots, in smplayer svn r6436. But it will only work when using mpv, not mplayer.
