My decode framerate took increased alot by setting the Performance.Decoding.Threds to 6 (my physicakl core number)
The default was 1.
Either the default should be 0 (Mplayer treat it as auto) or 4 or the muber of core on the computer.
Try yourself to see speedup in panning sceens.
