If i use the auto-zoom, all movies look like the movie on the attached picture. The upper black bar seems to be cut out, which cause that the picture move upwards. I have 16:10 Screen with a resolution of 1680 to 1050. ( smplayer 0.8.3 on Xubuntu 12.10)

Edit: I can confirm this bug under KDE (Kubuntu 12.10). Only under MATE (formerly Gnome2) this bug doesn't appear.
