#530 right to left subtitles displayed incorrectly

Using the latest version 0.8.1, hebrew subtitles are shown left to right instead of right to left.
I was really surprised to find that this issue wasn't detected/solved up to date?
Is there a plan to fix this anytime soon.

    What OS are you using? Windows or linux?

    Try going into the Preferences - Subtitles - Font and colors and Enable Normal subtitles.

    There are known problems with RTL with MPlayer, which might be fixed by doing the above.

    I think that the problem is with default "-flip-hebrew" flag.
    Adding "-noflip-hebrew" parameter to "mplayer options" solves the problem.

    There are 2 required actions here:

    • make "-noflip-hebrew" default
    • add a GUI checkbox for this feature
