I open smb4k seeing Workgroup under the Windows Network tab thinking my God I finally am one of the chosen few that can acess a windows network. But that went up in flames quickly. It seems that even though I enter my username and password for the server it won't accept it. I get no errors just the same screen with my username and password already keyed.
Thank you for reporting this issue. To be able to help, I need some information:
Can you please provide the output of the following two shell commands:
$ net rap server domain <DOMAIN> -S <MASTER> -U%
and also if you need to log on to the server to get the browse list
$ net rap server domain <DOMAIN> -S <MASTER> -U <USER>
Please replace <DOMAIN> by the domain/workgroup name, <MASTER> by the master browser of the domain/workgroup and <USER> by the user name you need to log on to the server. Enter your password if prompted.
What version of Windows is running on the server? Is the server a domain controller (of an active directory domain) or the master browser of a "normal" workgroup?
