I see. Looks like the same happened to me, but with a Samsung, as you see 
below

Yes, so it behaves differently then smartctl!!!
Because of this I removed logcheck's ignore-entry on "skipped tests" to be 
alerted from now on...

Well, actually I think the percentage at which the test "currently is" could 
be used as an indicator that something went wrong in the SMART firmware.
