Hi there, My smartd has begun reporting that I have 1 Current_Pending_Sectors and 1 Offline_Uncorrectable sectors on my disk. I've followed the Bad Block Howto at http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net/BadBlockHowTo.txt but I can't seem to get to the bottom of this at all. It's odd because the self-tests don't fail at all, and the only error that happened is in my Windows partition that I haven't used for god know how long. Can anybody shed any light on this? I'm not subscribed to the list, so can people please CC me? FWIW I'm running Debian Sarge/Testing. This /may/ have started after an upgrade of smartmontools on the box, but I can't confirm or deny that. Thanks very much in advance! - Chris PS: If anyone sees something obviously wrong with my disk please shout!
