Simply select the following additional packages in the "Devel" section of Cygwin's setup.exe (from http://cygwin.com/): make mingw64-i686-gcc-g++ w32api-headers w32api-runtime Optional: automake (for build from SVN) mingw64-x86_64-gcc-g++ (for x64 build) The other required packages should be installed automatically then. See section 10 of smartmontools INSTALL file for ./configure parameters. Alternatively, you could place the attached fixed include file as wtsapi32.h in smartmontools srcdir or builddir.
