I'm running Windows, so I'm a bit limited. :) My thought was to use Bart's Stuff Test running continuously with the smartd running a long self test in the background. Looking at the manpage, I'm just seeing the ability to schedule a test by the hour of the day (so at 2PM, for instance.) I'd prefer to have something like run the test now, then in +5 hours, then again in +10 hours, because I start the testing at different times. I guess I can just auto-generate a smartd.conf file based on the current time. T |
