The commands 0x85 and 0xa1 are the 16 and 12 byte versions of SAT ATA PASS-THROUGH 16 and 12 which are used to for all ATA commands if '-d sat' is specified. "smartctl -a" is equivalent to "smartctl -H -i -c -A -l error -l selftest -l selective". Please try which of those options produce a kernel warning. Thanks, Christian |
