True. I'm still so tied to old interface. At the first because I'm not 
so familiar with OOP, at the second - the new interface is rather 
undocumented (or I just missed the API description - and because of 
[first] it's hard to me to derive the API description from complex 
Linux's code) ...

In this particular case - even in the case I will replace your's [...] 
with real code I don't know where I should place a call for the such new 
interface function ...

Nice. If Andrew can finalize your template (replacing [...] with real 
code a conecting the function with other code) then I can help with 
testing of the new code (if necesarry). I can debug others code, even 
it's OOB - I just can't write it ...
