Could you please provide the complete USB-ID (idVendor:idProduct) ?

This may help to identify the USB bridge used.

According to product photos on the web, the PX1396E-3T01 enclosure is 
probably similar to some of the Dura Micro 501 models
(http://www.duramicro.com/501.html)

AFAIK, Toshiba does not produce USB bridges and might not be allowed to 
disclose this information due to a NDA.
