Thanks for your reply Bruce. I've got seatools for linux, ran the short and long test and it passed. So can i say everything is fine for sure now? I've got a reply of another linux user with this laptop (thus same hdd) saying that he gets the same attributes supposedly failing in linux, but on vista everything is alright. So can i say smart is not beeing accurate? doesn't those number of hours equates to over fifteen billion years? What about those other attributes that are also "old_age", and the raw values are equal or more than WORST. Is that something to worry about ?
