The day everyone has been waiting for, SmartCMS 3.0RC1 will be released this weekend. We are setting up a fourms on our website http://www.smart-dev.com where you will be able to get documents, access to our repository, and the message board.

Ok, i know ive been saying a lot that i will be putting the code up soon, well, every time i get it close to being done, my team comes up with a bunch of good ideas that we put in, and it takes the release date back more.

I can say, that soon, we will have something to give you guyes besides the outdated beta core.

Wanted to let all those people out there know that hopefully i will have a beta that will run off the core ready to release here really soon. I know the core is useless without it, so im working really hard on getting that for you all.

The core for SmartCMS Version 3.0 was released today, so all those people out there that want to take a sneak peak, there isnt much to see in there except a few of the global plugins and some of the code that extends the smarty php template engine. I will try to release some documentation and the rest of the files that drive the site, for those that wish to see the CMS actually working, feel free to visit http://www.brokeid.com.

Welcome to the SmartCMS Project. since the beginning of the developemnt of this project, i have changed around the code a lot, so im going to release my latest beta on here, along with some notes for those people that want to try to play around with it. But it is by far anywhere near complete, still got a ton of work to finish on it. My goal is to have it completed by mid next year. So keep a eye out, and every change i make i will be updating it on here. I also look forward to any peoples point of view if they feel something should be changed also.
