    I suppose everybody but me knows the answer to this question, but how do I run this from the command line?

    $ java -jar slurred0.5.4-src.jar
    Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from
    slurred0.5.4-src.jar

    And then I tried this.

    $ javaws -verbose slurred0.5.4-src.jar
    Java(TM) Web Start 1.6.0_11 Launching: /usr/lib/java/bin/java
    /usr/lib/java/bin/java
    -Xbootclasspath/a:/usr/lib/java/lib/javaws.jar:/usr/lib/java/lib/deploy.jar
    -classpath
    /usr/lib/java/lib/deploy.jar
    -Djava.security.policy=file:/usr/lib/java/lib/security/javaws.policy
    -DtrustProxy=true
    -Xverify:remote
    -Djnlpx.home=/usr/lib/java/bin
    -Djnlpx.remove=true
    -Djnlpx.splashport=57956
    -Djnlpx.jvm=/usr/lib/java/bin/java
    com.sun.javaws.Main
    /tmp/javaw3LK11e

    Then I get a java splash screen and immediately get a dialog box saying "unable to launch application"

    I click on details, and under the exception tab:

    ----
    CouldNotLoadArgumentException[ Could not load file/URL specified: /tmp/javaw3LK11e]
        at com.sun.javaws.Main.launchApp(Unknown Source)

        at com.sun.javaws.Main$1.run(Unknown Source)
        at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)

    ----

    And under the "wrapped exception" tab:

    java.io.IOException: File too large
        at com.sun.javaws.jnl.LaunchDescFactory.buildDescriptor(Unknown Source)
        at com.sun.javaws.Main.launchApp(Unknown Source)

        at com.sun.javaws.Main$1.run(Unknown Source)

    -------

    I'm using Slackware Linux 12.2.

      I loaded the src.jar file in Konqueror and saw the extract button. I then extracted the files into a temp directory...

      And as per the README, I'm going to download and build apache-ant now.
