Slooze is awesome, great work :)

It would be great if Slooze could automatically
generate thumbnails rather then having to put them up
seperately. I know this is quite possible as php has
image manipulation functions (possibly in a seperate
library?) and I would suggest that to lighten the
server load, the thumbnails be kept in a seperate
thumbnail directory (as someone else mentioned as well)
and not regenerated every time they're needed.

Another major improvement would be if you could upload
pics directly from the administrative web interface
rather then use a seperate FTP program. For an example
of this, see phpMyAdmin (a PHP-based Web-to-MySQL
interface) which lets you upload and run a SQL file
directly from the web interface, or even the
Soureceforge page I'm writing this from that lets me
upload and attach a file to this comment.

With both these enhancements, Slooze could then be
completely administered by non-techie types... Just
scan the pics, go to the admin page and put them in. No
making
thumbnails, dealing with directories, using a seperate
FTP program, etc.

Also, this would be a security enhancement -- to upload
pictures, someone would only need a password for
slooze, not the sefvers FTP password.

yes that sounds great! As I am installing it for a secretary of
an organization I am afraid she might get in trouble once in a
    while..

However, I read a few quite old comments and I am not sure
if anybody is still working on the project. Somehow, I am
    afraid not..

    Slooze now automatically generates thumbnails.
