#24 can't get data from SD card onto Sleepyhead on a MAC

Trying to import data to Sleepyhead from Lexar SD card from Phillips Respironics CPAP to a MAC OSX 10.9.2. I've installed the app, can see data on card, but it will not import to the app. Directions say not to use a folder, but that's all MACs have. I've kept the SD card locked because the info on the instructions said to do so.

Mark, I'm having the same data import issue on my Respironics "System One" CPAP machine. Did you ever figure this out? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply…I too have a 560P.
I guess I’m out of luck since i just got my machine a few months ago and I doubt they’ll allow an upgrade for a couple of years. But I will try.

Hi Paula, if you have a 560P, it's a good and data capable machine. It's just SleepyHead's importer for these newer "60 series" machines still needs to be fully completed. (All CPAP Models greater than the 450P have so far all been fully data capable.)

Philips Respironics doesn't release any publicly available documentation on any of their data formats, so every time a new machine series comes out, someone has to hack out the differences in the data formats all over again :-(

Yes, and even though there is a sticker on my CPAP saying I can download the SleepMapper app, I have a MAC and it’s not compatible. I even called Respironics and asked when they’d have a program for MACs and they said they aren’t even thinking of it. So much for trying to improve CPAP compliance! Anyway, I guess I’ll just have to visit my sleep doc occasionally and get it downloaded there.

By the way, did you try the "unstable" version. I released a new build yesterday for Mac.

There have been some fixes since the last official Mac build that might get you going.

There's quite a few numbers on the bottom of the box, but perhaps this is the model number: M048162 (REMstar Plus, REF 260P, REV01). I'm using a Mac running OS 10.9.2 as well.

I've tried the stable v0.9.2 and the "unstable" v0.9.4 but neither will import any data. Thanks!

Ouch.. 260P. You have a basic "Plus" model.

Unfortunately, your machine has absolutely zero data recording capablities other than recording hours of use. SleepyHead has nothing to work with :(

I have to do something detect this and display a better warning on import.

My best advice is contact your supplier and ask why you were given a non data capable machine, and ask for them to upgrade it to one you can track your progress with.
