Hi Lidit, I've just released v3.22 which has a major overhall of the log window. Bug fixes and your changes are now included. I'll work towards commenting the code and making it open source - out of interest, why can't you install closed source software on your main computer? Thanks for your help and recommendations. CHris
I apologize for the delay of response (for some reason I did not get the alert). Yes I can now run through a cmd shortcut which is awesome. ps: I just noticed it's not open source (I thought sourceforge was only about open source), so I can't install it on my main computer. You should maybe consider providing the source, your app would be much more popular if it was on github. Anyway, thanks a lot!
v3.21.1 Sent the command line option -countdown to the previous instance if Sleep# is already running.
Hi Lidit, I've made a basic implementation which responds to the -countdown command line parameter. It simply sets the countdown to its last set value (like clicking the "Countdown Timer" menu item) and starts the timer. Is this suitable? You can also communicate with Sleep# using the custom Unified Remote interface (https://www.unifiedremote.com/) - this sends messages to the hwnd which Sleep# stores in %temp%\sshw upon startup. See the win.send commands in C:\ProgramData\Unified Remote\Remotes\Custom\Sleep#\remote.lua....
Thanks for your reply Chris, Would the command line function need to work even if Sleep# was already running? I don't know, I only need to run a script that will launch a sound (whitenoise) and then Sleep# with the arguments "sleep in 1h" + "5mn fade". I guess the easiest for you will be the best (I can kill Sleep# before, or launching it before running the commande line parameters).

It does, but not for starting the countdown unfortunately. I'll add a function to start the timer when I get a chance The program is designed to be ran in the background really - clicking the icon and then clicking "Countdown Timer" restarts the last countdown duration. Would the command line function need to work even if Sleep# was already running?
If so, how would you launch it automatically with a count down timer of 1h? Thanks!
I found it easely when I tried it, but I did not expected it because since you did not advertised it (you might get more users to do it). Anyway, it's an awesome app, thank you very much for sharing your work!

Thanks for the feedback :) You're right, its not a feature I have really advertised - it's very useful but I don't really notice it when I'm playing music etc. with a countdown timer set - which I guess means it works well! Perhaps Grace Period isn't the best name, but it's not the easiest feature to describe. At least "grace" has two meanings though - both of which are applicable!
well it seems you already did it! (Grace period/fade audio) Awesome! Sorry for that. I guess you should write it on the description of your app, it's a great feature. (I first though I could not use it because of that. )

I'm sleeping with some sound (white noise), I can't use a simple timer since stopping abrutly the sound wakes me up. It would be awesome if you could add a feature to decrease the sound before putting it to sleep. A possibility to fix a delay from which the volume will decrease proportionaly would be super. (or more simple, just a single option decreasing the volume during 5 mn from the current volume level to zero before it would go to sleep would make a perfect smooth transition) In any case, I...

I had the same problem - the countdown timer also doesn't work yeah? I thought it was something I had done, but you're right, it's happened after upgrading to the Creator's edition. I'm really sorry - I have no idea what they could have changed to break something that has worked through so many versions of Windows. Unfortunately I'm out of the country and away from my development PC so I can't fix it immediately. I'll do it as soon as possible though. Do other countdown toners still work to suspend...
Sleep# is not hibernating my desktop PC and my notebook after VLC finishes to play videos. This is happening since I upgraded to Windows Creator's (Version 1703, Build 15.603.xxx). I already uninstalled/reinstalled VLC and Sleep# but it did not fix the issue.Sleep# requires DotNet 4.0 which I cannot install anymore because Windows says .Net 4.7 replaces it. I am not a specialist and I wish someone could help me to make Sleep# put the computer to hibernate after VLC finishes playing videos. Thank...
