If you change the template in the filesystem, that won't change it on=20 your website. You'd need to a) edit the template to your liking in the filesystem. b) use the template-tool (normally in /usr/local/slash/bin ) to load=20 the template into your website's database. c) if you have caching turned on, then you should restart apache and=20 the slash daemon slashd. Restarting apache will a) flush cached data=20 (ie templates) and restarting slashd will flush it so that the task=20 that creates the index.shtml's for the sections is created w/ the new=20 template. Option c really depends on your website. If it's busy, then you may not=20= need to do it, because the cache will naturally timeout on their own as=20= Apache's children processes die and restart, thereby loading the new=20 template in. One of the slash guru's may want to pipe up whether or not you'd really=20= have to restart slashd in such a case.
