Hi guys, I'm new to Slash (and have just installed it), and just have a question about the blocks that are displayed by default. Ideally, I don't want any blocks displayed by default, though the user can check them in themselves if they wish. So for the unauthenticated users, I'd rather them not see any blocks.. My question is, how do I accomplish this? I tried editing the block (e.g., Freshmeat) in the Blocks section of the admin tools, and unchecking the portald and retrieve checkboxen. This didn't have any effect, though, whether I was logged in or not. About the only way I could do it was to remove the block itself (and then restart Apache and Slash), but this will mean that users can't re-enable it in the future. Are there any other ways of accomplishing this? Thanks guys! Chris |
