#4469 Messages will not delete

Using either IE or Firefox, I cannot delete messages individually or as a group from either the homepage or the message center. These are messages like "Reply to ..." or "Comment Moderation". Clicking on these links effectively ends in "message not found". Either way, I just want to delete them. IE8 (non-compat mode) gives me a scripting error:

Firefox does not err. Either way, the messages disappear but if I refresh the page they're back.

I think this may be related to the issue mentioned in Bug #2880691.

The same thing for me, username hatten.

I believe this is a duplicate to Bug #2926478
