I have syndicated my journal from slashdot to the maemo.org website.
However whenever it is displayed on the planet.maemo.org website it comes out as a wall of text.
If I paste a link (such as this one to my liqbase UI progress update: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt7qB37sLLo
it is merged with the next line, so users cannot view the link because of a malformed ID
I have always entered my comments and journals as plain text, and have never needed to use HTML formatting.
My postings and comments are readable within slashdot but are totally unreadable.
please, please please can something be done from your end as my message is being lost in horribleness.
this is a snapshot of the output:
http://maemo.org/news//planet-maemo/category/feed:3d5e23dc86be883122850fe1e5489e2e/
the page itself is
http://maemo.org/news/planet-maemo/
I have been a long time supporter of slashdot and wish to continue using the journal for my postings (it feels like home :)) but if this cannot be solved I will have to setup something else :'(
how ironic, the feed link I supplied becomes malformed in here
it got broken into 2 lines...
*rolleyes* lol
What URL are you using for your journal feed?
pudge:
http://slashdot.org/~liquidcoooled/journal/rss
oh crap!
it happened again, and I made sure this time i specifically wrote entirely in html
slashdot is such a fertile hotbed of ideas, please please please find a way to make the rss export correctly
