#4305 Slashdot logo no longer navigates to site
Clicking the slashdot logo (at the top left) used to navigate back to the main slashdot page. The image still shows up as a link to http://slashdot.org/, but clicking it no longer does anything. This just started recently...early Feb 09, or maybe late Jan 09. I've tried this in Firefox 3.0.6 and ie 7.0.5.
What page did you hit this on?, on firehose pages / or index2 this should now reload stories w/in the page w/o a page reload. However on other pages of the site it should work as it did before.
I tested a few pages and it worked as expected for me, however you may be running into a different case.
On the main page....I've always clicked the logo to effect a reload.
Or..after browsing back in the history like clicking the Yesterday link at the bottom of the page. After reading the yesterday page, I'd click the slashdot logo at top left and it would take me back to today's page. I can get the old behavior by clicking the "main" link under sections, but the hover link on it is the same as the logo.
