#4270 Messages and user options not working
I am brand new to Slashdot and now to sourceforge. I am attempting to change my preferences in my user control panel, concerning the messages I receive. It is not working. It does not change anything. On all pages, I get the error message in the lower left status bar that there are coding errors on the page. I get the grey box with the options, make the changes... then, nothing.
I am on windows Vista on an almost brand new Dell laptop.
I have not tried to make other user prefs changes, but am guessing that perhaps none of this is working.
Lol! For a geek/nerd site, it's best that the geek/nerd codings work!
I suggest this is essentially the same bug as #'s 2249116 and 2219985. I don't really have anything to add except "me too" and a request that this be given high priority.
