On the main page, several articles overlay each other, leaving them unreadable.

Screenres - 1280x1024
Font/ Layout - default
OS - Windows XP SP3
Browser - IE7

I already attached one screenshot, but it was a 'whopping' 298k, so I cut it down.

Then I was told that I have to log in to report any errors - righto, I'll just type everything in again for a third time.

I previously assumed that you'd be concentrating on making sure your pages were compatible with the broswer that has >75% share, but then I also assumed that you'd offer a contact email address, so I wouldn't have to make three attempts just to let you know that your homepage doesn't work properly (in other words, do your beta testing for you).

Silly me!

Were you logged in or out? Is this still happening? and if so is it an intermittent problem, or always there.

I just loaded the site in IE 7.0.5730.13 @ 1280x1024 and it seemed okay.

    Thanks for the report.

Please, just use HTML. No flash, java, silverlight, etc. etc.

    I wasn't logged in.

It's still occurring today, so I cleared my cache and now only the bottom line of text is semi-hidden. What could cause this sort of corruption?

....and now i also get this (which also happens in IE6 on a different machine) - Why is this article 'rolled up'? (see attached)

    I don't really need answers - I'm at work! - but I thought you'd want to know.

    But hey, it's me, right?

...and later the same day, here it is again (as well as the similar prob on IE6).

I'm quite shocked that you haven't rolled back to a point where this system was working...maybe if everyone wasn't trying to start up a browser war again (such short memories all round), this wouldn't be happening. Maybe I've been doing this for too long....

    Attached is another screencap.

Also - I've been in support for 20 years. 'well it's working on mine' doesn't work on my users, so I'm not sure why you're trying it on yours.....in fact, that does it. I *have* been doing this for too long! :-)

I guess this must be a not-for-profit site

    Fault still occurring.

This is happening on your MAIN WEB PAGE, and I have now duplicated this problem on 3 machines, each at a different site (and across IE6/ IE7).

And yet when I pointed out in a slashdot article recently that another browser war was pointless, how that race was over 10 years ago, and how it will only lead to incompatibilities (just like before), I got marked down for trolling.

And yet here I am, with a 75% market share browser, unable to read your pages properly. Go figure.
