#4226 Flashblock/Javascript wipe out main page intermittantly

With:
Javascript enabled.
Flash-block enabled for all Flash content.

The Slashdot main page currently does not display in Firefox 2.0.3. It shows briefly, then cuts to a completely blank page with a flash app on it. It looks like the app comes from someplace with a name like "mdn".

Turning off Javascript works, but cripples slashdot. Turning on Flash works, but cripples the rest of the web. :(

And... 15 minutes later, it's working again. Apparently the ad rotation has rotated out whatever it was that blew up the main page.

Again, about quarter to 11 AM EST and it's broken again. Trying this from a completely different connection gives the same results. With FlashBlock on and Javascript enabled, after a very very brief rendering of the page, it goes blank with a flash app in the upper left corner.

I get the same problem, no flashblock, Firefox 3.0.3. See my bug: #2080646

THe problem is:
