When there are a lot of comments, slashdot shows a page selector at the bottom of each page (links to page 1, 2, 3 etc). When I click on these links, I always receive the first page again. The url is correct (well, at leas tthe "startat" parameter seems to be update to 100, 200 etc as appropriate), but it is always the same list of comments that is returned.
Here is an example URL that only returns the first page of data for me:
http://developers.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=409730&threshold=1&commentsort=0&mode=flat&startat=100&pid=0
I have verified that the data returned is always the same, regardless of the startat parameter.
The same problem is seen from Linux/Firefox, MacOSX/Firefox, MacOSX/Safari, Windows/Firefox and Windows/Safari, as well as from home and at work.
