#3951 Story moderation doesn't work
Using Firefox 2.0.0.6
The ability to vote up a story, and give a reason is cool. The menu pops up including "interesting", "funny", "insightful". Once one is selected, the "+" stays depressed, and there is no feedback that the vote was recorded. Based on previous behavior, I don't think it's working.

Yup -- this seems to have changed in the past few days (I think it was Friday when I noticed that all kinds of stuff was suddenly not working), and a whole bunch of other things are suddenly equally broken.
(It seems that the moderation vote isn't recorded: I just moderated a story, and says I still have five points left.)
Examples of other things that are suddenly broken:
1. the new discussion system is no longer working here: I can no longer click on a comment to see the expanded version: clicking has no discernible effect.
2. The firehose voting isn't working right either.

I have a similar problem. The menu pops up and when I select a descriptor, nothing happens. This has been an ongoing problem for months with me. I have tried two browsers, Firefox and Konqueror, and both give the same result. I am using SuSE 9.2 and that may be the source of my difficulty.
