#3591 Non-sectioned stories are always collapsed

(This is a follow up to several emails exchanged with
Malda)

When I am logged in (I am a subscriber, but even when I
wasn't this happened), all NON sectioned stories are
ALWAYS abbreviated. Originally, I had set the Games
section to Full,Abbreviated, but since then, no matter
what I choose, all non-sectionedd stories abbreviate
all of the time.

I have attempted to change the behavior, there is no luck.

This is true of live stories and those posted in "the
mysterious future."
