If you don't try it yet, beware that SlackGNOME compile GNOME 2.16.3. It's is not a pleasant task to do and to use your compiled GNOME I recommend you to read the GARNOME documentation "Starting GARNOME": http://www.gnome.org/projects/garnome/docs.html

If you are not yet aware, GNOME 2.18 is out and we will being updating the scripts to make possible to compile this new release!
