I'm back to working on project and studying as you can tell from the time of this mail :) He just mentioned that they poll the sound buffer every so often, and update it from there without using messages from windows. I figured this was possible, but after giving it more thought, it's really not too hard to do. I'd need to change a few things, and make sure that the polling function is ran enough, and the buffer is big enough to run between runs, but that's it. My buffer writing functions should still work, maybe a few small tweaks. Anyway, I'm back to coding my software design project. See you later today :) Justin > What's the idea?
