Hello Bryce,

I suspect that this is because those characters are being interpreted as
part of the program.  You can try escaping them by putting a front slash
in front of the character.  (I think, I can never remember if it's a
front or back slash that does the escaping, try em both)  so something
like this

  it/'s been nice knowing you /\ yours.

will print as

  it's been nice knowing you \ yours.
