[Sitr-general] apostrophe's and backslashes

Quick question... 
 
We noticed that if we try to put a backslash in the main body of the
article that once saved it will delete the backslash and the first
character after it. 
 
If we also try to post an apostrophe in the main body we get an error
back. 
 
Any ideas as to why this may be happening or where would we look to see
if we can solve it.

BTW... Very cool little web app.  What I like is that it is a very
simple fast little app which is exactly what we were looking for.
