Hi, After a big work on the subject of phase unwrapping, I have built this function: it searches the best path in an image to unwrap the phase. It's much more efficient than unwrapping line by line (and coding was much harder too) and so it gives good results on average images. My first version needed about 1h30 to decode a 512*512 pixels image ! The actual version does the same in about 45 seconds. I think it's a quite reasonnable time. So, I don't think I will try to interface with a C code to gain speed, but if someone is interested... I'm quite happy because this kind of function is only available in very expensive proprietary softwares (about 10 000$, with some other things too, of course). I send a phased image that I already sent (for unwrapl function), so it's easy for anyone who would like to test the function. Comments are welcome. kind regards, Jocelyn PS: what about the windows port ? For my part, I appreciate very much to be able to work either on linux (which is the best I think) or on windows (which is the most commonly found). -- Powered by Linux |
