[Siproxd-users] Outbound Proxy

Hi Thomas and List,
I successfully tested Instant Messaging using siproxd as the outbound =
proxy ie the UA behind the NAT gateway registers to a 3rd party =
registration server (on the public side) and uses siproxd as the =
outgoing proxy. I used Siemens SIP UA. I will test this with some RTP =
traffic soon.

MSN Messenger 5.0 is buggy - it does not follow the SIP specification. =
It tries to send an instant message using INVITE method and gets a BYE =
in response. So SIP Instant Messaging with version 5 is not possible.
