#94 IP Blocking through another method

We have encountered several situations where either of the workers on our local network tries to login 3 times, fails, and then because our server is hosted elsewhere, we are all logged out and unable to access the server for 15 minutes. Can we ask for a different method of banning such as mac address or otherwise.

It could be used maliciously is all I am saying.
