I did not use any profiler, to measure stats like this you should avoid a profiler unless you want specific metrics on parts of the server. I used Faban and ApacheBench to gather statistics. I am afraid I do not have much time right now to create scripts, however the site for Faban is quite good and ApacheBench is very simple to use. Another good free tool is httperf, however I have not used it in quite a while.
