Today SimpleBatteryApplet 4.0 is avaliable for downloading. It includes lots of improvements. Multibattery sypport and acpi cli independence are among them. Although applet's interface was reworked. Now it has only two buttons in notification bubble (OK -- prevents from further notifications and 'exec PANIC' which changes to 'stop PANIC' on critical discharge)

Hello! Today SimpleBatteryApplet 3.1 was released. It contains only minor improvements and bug-fixings.
I've got plans for the forth version: support of two or more batteries, not acpi based calculation of remaining time.

SimpleBatteryApplet 3.0 was released. Several new features where added: icon selection algorithm was improved by Klaus Schneider-Zapp, new checkbox was added to the notifications to create an ability to stop its meddlesomeness, configuration via command line args added.
