Does the library do any instruction set runtime detection? For example if I build it with all support enabled (all SSEs and AVX and AVX2), and then it runs on an older system with only SSE support (or an older AMD processor), will it work properly? I'm planning to use this as part of a package which could be installed on older Windows systems and servers.
If no runtime detection is done, what instruction set(s) would you recommend enabling for widest support while still being performant (both Intel and AMD)?

When it checks CPU extensions, it doesn't use information about CPU's vendor. So it will be work and with AMD too. So you can use the library on old computers without any changes.
