Ok - I have a prototype working generic USB interface. No querying of capabilities at present, and no setting of the number of probes, and the firmware needs to be thoroughly tested, and I have yet to write the automatic firmware download. But I do get output using the command line interface (attached). A couple of observations when building on a Mac - I needed to edit autogen.sh - ACLOCAL_DIR had to point to /usr/local/share/aclocal - The pointer to the cocoa link on the wiki is out of date. I got it from <http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/sdk-mac-os-cpp> (only to find out that the gui isn't functional yet :) - The highest baudrate, B460800, in serial.c does not exist on my MAC. But first - the easter break.
