I'm fairly new to this program (it looks pretty much ideal), but I'm trying to set it up to work with a process I have. I'm going to be using it to create documents which all go through a set order of procedures (with various people involved).
I've been creating a number of workflows...but I'm wondering if there's any way you can enforce which order they're used in. I've seen some programs which, when you have a item/document assigned to you it basically gives you one (or sometimes multiple) options of what workflow comes next.
To illustrate, consider the creation of a report:
1. Prepare Outline
2. Write Draft
3. Polish Up
4. Get Reviewed By Others
5. Submit
Now obviously, you'd want to ensure those are performed in the same order every time. Is there any functionality right now, to do so? It seems that when you hit "Next Workflow", it gives you a list of all of them and you can pick and choose.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Until now I've choose to not enforce workflows. The idea is to enforce a policy with a written procedure and let the users to follow these guidelines by their own. In this way the users are responsable of the workflow order. Anyway I don't exclude in future to introduce some way to let sidocre to enforce workflows order.
